About

meHi there,

My name is Carmen and I love to travel and explore new places. I am a traveler, nature lover, and hobby cook . I love animals and that is why I don’t eat them. I defend the idea that animals are entitled to the possession of their own lives and that their most basic interests should be afforded the same consideration as similar interests of human beings!

The question is not, “Can they reason?” nor, “Can they talk?” but “Can they suffer? – Jeremy Bentham

I am a traveler, excursionist, and explorer. I avoid crowded places and places where you have to stand in line to get in. Currently, I live in Barcelona. A city crowded with tourists. However, there are still many secret spots to explore where you can relax and see cool stuff.

The world is a book, and  those who do not travel read only one page. – Saint Augustine

I have created this blog to share the most awesome laid-back places I have found during my travels and in my everyday life.

I hope you enjoy it!

  1. I really love your blog, Carmen! I’m a vegan too, and I also love exploring abandoned places or the kind of places most tourists don’t think to go to. For most tourists, Paris = Eiffel Tower, Rome = Colliseum, etc, but this can be boring; there are so many secret areas in these countries that even some locals don’t know about.

Just like you, I even have an abanbonded train station post on my blog https://wildjuggling.wordpress.com/2013/01/09/ghostly-ruins-of-train-station/. This is in New York City, but hardly anyone knows about this place because it is far from Manhattan and almost every major tourist landmark. Here’s another abandoned building, though this is a few miles north of the city, and right along the old abandoned Croton aqueduct https://wildjuggling.wordpress.com/2013/03/28/joggling-with-the-devil/ Here’s another, also north of the big city https://wildjuggling.wordpress.com/2013/01/15/ruins-of-mansion-in-rye-new-york/

    Keep exploring Carmen, have fun!

  2. Thanks for dropping by my blog. I like this quote too “The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only one page”. Totally agree that when you travel around the world, you will learn the differences and culture.
