DEEP WATER SOLOING IN COSTA BRAVA – ROCKS AND TURQUOISE WATER
If you fancy pure climbing with no rope, just you, your shoes and chalk, this is your place! If you fall, you fall into the water.
This absolutely gorgeous place is located near Tossa de Mar between Cala Bona and Cala Pola. Apart from climbing the superfun psicobloc, you can do some snorkeling, swimming, and cliff jumping.

Rocamaura -L’Estartit (Costa Brava)
A really nice place to climb and enjoy the views at the mediterranean sea while climbing is Rocamaura. It’s only a few minutes from the beach. So you can climb in the morning while there is still shade to do so and have a refreshing swim afterwards.
Climbing grades range from V to 7b.
To get there, look for L’Estartit, carrer Montseny in Googlemaps. Drive till the end of carrer Monseny (dead end street) and park there. Then follow the path uphill and to the right (about 5-10 min.)
If you are looking for a place for rock climbing close to Barcelona, by the sea, and that’s accessible by train: Garraf Platja is the place for.
You can get there by train (30 Minutes from Sants Central Station). When you get to the beach in Garraf turn right, walk passed the harbor, turn right again, walk through the tunnel, after the tunnel just follow the dirt road up the hill and there you are.
There are three climbing zones: El Coti (5-6c), El pas de la mala dona (5-8a), and El Balcó del Teixi (5-8a).
Routes are available in Climb Around (http://climbaround.com/app/).
