The aqueduct looks great but unfortunately, it is not used for climbing anymore. There are still bolts on 2 routes (20-25 meter) but most of the bolts and the anchors are very rusty. One route could be climbed using only the wall. On the second route the holds were removed and it is not possible to climb it at all.
It is free of charge but you have to be federated to get access or bring someone who is.
Membership is 60eur per year and you need to sign up in January because they only give out a limited number of memberships.
There are about 4 routes for rope climbing. One is a 5, about the others I am not entirely sure, maybe 6b-7a. Not the best place to climb. We only went there due to the Covid-19 confinement.
On one side of the Viaducte de Vallcarca (or Puente de Vallcarca) you can find climbing holds and bolds. The equipment is very old. The bolds and most holds are still good but you can’t use any of the anchors. We downclimbed to clean the routes. Grades are about 4/5.
Bonavista is a nice climbing sector with 10 beginner-friendly slab routes close to the neighbourhood Bonavista in Badalona and only a few minutes away from the parking. The routes are a little sandy though and you might find a few loose rocks.
It’s the perfect escape place during confinement. 7 routes from 5 to 7a. A clipstick is helpful (for route nr. 6 [6c] you’ll need it). The sector can be reached by train and is within the ‘Comarca Barcelona’. Very nice surroundings and views at the sea.
This is a small new (2021) boulder wall just beside the street. It’s perfect for beginners to try out.
