Solius is a rock climbing area in Girona (Costa Brava) about 1 hour drive away from Barcelona and 15 minutes from San Feliu de Guíxols.
The surrounding area is stunning. The rock is granite. There are approx. 100 high quality lines, mostly slab climbing. Grades range from 4 to 7c+. There are a few multi-pitch routes as well (2-3 pitches).
We climbed:
AGULLA CENTRAL
El Quart de l’Eduard (6a+): short, one hard move
El puto avi (6b+): short intense slab, recommendable
Il padrino (6a): probably the most athletic line of Agulla Central, recommendable
ROCA PONÇA
La Gavina 1st pitch (6a+): Quick easy climb
Ïtaca (6c+): Hard boulder start + slab + overhang, very recommendable
La Serp (7a+): Hard boulder start + slab, also very recommendable
La festa del Paca (6c): Starts with an athletic overhang + slab, recommendable

My name is Carmen and I love to travel and explore new places. I love animals and that is why I don’t eat them. I defend the idea that animals are entitled to the possession of their own lives and that their most basic interests should be afforded the same consideration as similar interests of human beings!
