Rodellar is a small picturesque village located in the Sierra de Guara National Park (Aragon, Spain).
It is a very popular sport climbing destination. It is especially attractive during the hotter months thanks to its canyons with crystal clear water where you can enjoy a super-refreshing dip. The landscape is stunning and offers a variaty of fun activities (sport climbing, canyoning, via ferrata, hiking).
The rock is limestone and the climbing routes are mostly overhanging, overclimbed (very slippery) and hard. Rodellar does not offer many routes for unexperienced climbers – most routes are in the french 7-8 area. There are a few 5th – 6th grade routes but those are usually very polished.
The topos of most sectors can be found in the Climbaround App: http://climbaround.com/zonas/rodellar/ and in the download file attached below.

My name is Carmen and I love to travel and explore new places. I love animals and that is why I don’t eat them. I defend the idea that animals are entitled to the possession of their own lives and that their most basic interests should be afforded the same consideration as similar interests of human beings!
