Valle de Benasque – Climbing in the heart of the Pyrenees

Sector Aiguespasas

Aiguaspasas is a supernice climbing sector only a 10 minutes’ easy walk from the road with grades from 5 to 7a+. Routes 4 (Mandibulas de tiburon – 6b) and 5 (Las chicas de la Fonda – 6a+) follow cracks in the rock from bottom to top (25m). Las chicas de la fonda has a wider crack whereas Mandibulas del tibron follows a very narrow crack. Both routes are amazing to climb.

Sector Vall de Remuñe

To get to this sector you’ll have to hike a little (about 45 minutes from the road – but with all the gear it may feel a little longer). The sector offers easy climbs (from 5 to 6b) and mostly slab climbing. Many of the routes are multi pitch and the views are absolutely stunning.
