Camarasa is a great weekend destination for climbing during the hotter summer months. You can reach Camarasa en less then 2 hours by car from Barcelona.
We climbed in “el tunél” – the sector is quite new. Most majority of routes are graded from 6a to 7b and the routes are between 15-20 meters. The rock is limestone and the rock quality very good. The approach time from the parking is no more than 15 minutes.
I don’t recommend climbing “Via Roco Punt Extrem” as sports route. The anchor has only one bolt that’s moving.
The sector is located on the right side just before entering the first tunnel after Camarasa (see map below). There is a parking on the right hand side about 500 meters before the tunnel.
